These Bose in ear headphones provide an amazing quality of sound especially in relation to bass levels. Literally the bass hurts your head the first time you listen to your favourite tracks, and it feels like your earwax is being gradually dislodged after each beat. After a couple of uses, your ears become completely used to the bass levels and then all other headphones seem completely inferior. The headphones also offer a large range and high quality of low, medium and high sound, which will boast the experience of listening to your favourite albums.

Styling wise, the headphones are attractive, with the silver on black colour scheme providing a contemporary but prestigious appearance. The white and black wire is an unusual design but seems to combine the styling of the ipod headphones with the sleek black or standard Bose headphones.

The in ear component of the headphones is very unique and has a greater resemblance to high end ear plugs for musicians. The buds insert directly into the ear and fit snugly after you have found the most comfortable position for you, and this dramatically boosts the noise reduction qualities. There are three different sizes of in ear buds although it is often the case that you need as size right in the middle of small and medium for example. However i feel that the soft silicone buds mean that the fit of the headphones can easily be personalised as the shape can be varied depending on an individuals ear size and shape. Sometimes the headphones are loosened easily and it can be a chore to try and wedge them back in, but in general they do remain in your ear during exercise or whilst commuting.

For those looking for high quality in ear headphones, Bose is clearly the brand to chose. They are a highly trusted and well known brand who are often referred to as being the top manufacturer in their market. If you have never used in ear headphones, you are definitely missing out. the importance of noise reduction, comfort and quality, all of which are lacked in standard ipod headphones for example are all key features that in ear headphone designers look to focus on. With this product i feel that, although at a cost of around £80, these consumer needs have been achieved to a high standard, and consequently I would recommend these headphones to all.
