There is nothing I detest more than a bad pair of headphones, My life revolves around sound, from watching movies on my laptop to video editing to listening to music as a pass time. Unfortunately through the years I've had the displeasure of experiencing some cheap and nasty headphones that crackled like there was no tomorrow and fell apart faster than I could throw away the packaging they came in. When I received these headphones as a gift I was over the moon and eager to start getting the use out of them.
Before I received these headphones i was already fairly familiar with the Bose company. We have a family Bose stereo and CD player as well as a Bose surround system for our main TV, both of which have served their purpose superbly and are still working as well as they did when we purchased them years ago. Personally I prefer the Bose company over other high end companies such as Apple and Skull Candy when it comes to sound products simply due to the consistent outstanding quality in each of their products I have tried; they also excel in comfort and design.
The company offers a range of products which are based on sound, from small in ear headphones to large sound systems for the home entertainment. Bose are also well known for having fairly steep prices but if you'd rather invest in a product that lasts over investing in 20 headphones that won't last over a month each, then this company is definitely for you.
When I last checked online, these headphones could be purchased from around £80-100 depending on where you shop for them, my parents said they paid £99 for mine but that was a while ago now so it's probably easier to get them a little cheaper. If you aren't familiar or comfortable with the brand, the first sight of the price may put you off, however you will get great use and quality out of these headphones so it's worth digging deep and giving them a go.
THE DESIGN AND COMFORT
I found that the design was very considerate for all potential users of the product, like most over ear headphones the band is adjustable to suit both the larger and the smaller heads and helps to achieve maximum comfort. It's easy to adjust the band you just simply pull the top of the band and the ear bud away from each other, however it's so smooth it'll probably adjust itself as you pull and put the buds over your ears.
The ear buds themselves are very well cushioned and provide great comfort for my ears, the size of the buds are fairly generous and they have space around my ears too, which means it should provide the same comfort for those who have bigger ears. I found that when the headphones where on there was just enough pressure to feel snug on my head but not so tight that it began to make my head hurt, like skull candy headphones usually did for me.
The lead on these headphones is very generous and allows me to walk around two meters away from where they are plugged in, this is great for me as I always seem to be busy and in the need to go and grab additional items for the activity im doing; not having to take the headphones off every time this happens saves time and creates much less fuss.
EASE OF USE
These headphones are foolproof when it comes to using them, there is literally only one function you need to do and that is to plug the headphones into the socket of whatever device you wish to use them with. Once you do that you're ready to start listening to whatever you like!
THE SOUND QUALITY
The sound quality of these headphones just cannot be beaten, it exceeded all of my expectations which were already very high. The idea of these headphones it that the special padding on the buds are meant to keep the sound in and the background noise out so both the listener and the people around you are happy. I did have my doubts about this as this technology rarely works when you want to listen to your music fairly loudly, however I was proved wrong.
When you're listening to music with these headphones it feels as if you're in the room with the artist. There is no background noise and each individual instrument which make the piece of music can be clearly heard and identified, much unlike the cheap headphones which seem to merge all of the instruments into one and make the music sound flat.
The height of the volume can go reasonably loud without feeling like you're bursting your eardrums, which is another great thing about these headphones, because there is no background noise you can have your volume a little lower than usual and still be able to hear the sounds more clearly than you would with any other ordinary headphones.
I'm going to rate my personal overall experience as 9/10 I've only marked one down as the lead can get a bit tangly sometimes and can also be impractical if you want to use the headphones out and about as you have to wrap the lead around your phone or iPod several times just to keep it out of the way as you walk and listen.
Other than that I just can't fault these headphones, I've had them for nearly two years and they are still looking, feeling and sounding as good as new.
WOULD I RECOMMEND?
I would defiantly recommend these headphones to anyone who will use them on a day to day basis and needs a product that can be versatile for many needs. I defiantly recommend it to those of you who live in a busy house and sometimes need a pair of headphones that can either block the sound of everyone else out or keep all the noise you are listening to in. I can defiantly say that these headphones have helped keep the house a little more peaceful and can keep everyone happy.
when purchasing my bose headphones i knew quality was assured, and these headphones did not let me down. i bought these headphones to keep me occupied during my travels and they diddnt disappoint. the sound quality produced from these headphones is far superior to any other pair of head phones ive used before, as well as the intense sound they produce they are also incredibly comfortable. they have a soft padding to cushion them to your ears and are easily adjustable to your head shape/size. these headphones also come with a longer than usual wire which although sometimes is easily tangled they do allow for greater manouvaribillity while listening to your music. these head phones also come with an adapter that allows you to plug them in to appliances, i use mine for my guitar amp. these headphones are the best option when considering price and quality and area must buy in my opinion.
The Bose Triport really is a great set of high quality headphones. I bought this set of headphones as a replacement to the original iPod headphones. I was looking for a high quality pair of headphones and the Bose Triport certainly exceeded my expectations.
I bought these headphones from the Bose Outlet for £100 which is not too bad a price given the fact that they are Bose. However, to an average user these headphones are likely to be out of their price range.
In terms of the style of the headphones I found them to be really sleek and stylish. The colours really go together well and it just adds to the overall quality of the product.
In terms of comfort the headphones are very comfortable and they fit over the ears very well. When taking the headphones on longer journeys I found that the headphones were ideal because they were so comfortable. I could wear them for literally hours without my ears becoming irritated. The style together with the comfort therefore really does make this a great pair of headphones that I would really recommend.
The main reason why I bought this pair of headphones was because of Bose's reputation for quality headphones and the price of just £100 which is the cheapest of Bose's headphone range. The sound quality is just incredible and really does help to enrich your audio experience. The sound quality really is superior to any other brand of headphones that I have tried and for that I would really recommend it. As my friend has once said 'Once you go Bose you don't go back' emphasising the true brilliance of the headphones.
I have had the Bose Triport headphones for over a year now, and have really enjoyed the quality of the sound that I have got from them. They offer a cool sound, and come it a good price. They have been designed by Bose, one of the pioneers of sound technology, and also look very good.
The headphones offer a realistic and clear sound. The best part of them though are the features of the baseline, rich gives a really nice rich and deep sound. I have been impressed a lot by the sound quality of these headphones, they really have given me a great experience, especially when used on long hall flights.
The cups on the headphones are designed to prevent sound from the outside environment from interrupting the user experience, and they do this to perfection, I cannot hear a thing in the outside world when I have got these on, and it make them a delight to watch.
The only trouble that I have with these headphones is the comfortablity factor, the top band that is meant to go over your head really itches, and makes me uncomfortable, but if you can get round this problem and don't find it annoying, then these headphones are a fantastic buy, and really worth the money, I really would recommend them to sound lovers out there.
I bought my first pair of "proper" headphones when i wnet to America. Found a lovely Bsoe shop and parted with £90.
These headphones are an absolute joy to use for any type of music.
These headphones and all Bose products are engineered differently to give you one of the best possible sounds ever.
The headphones come in silver or a metallic blue and have a long cord, well over a metre, and if that is not enough you even get an extra metre extension in the box too.
There is also a bag to keep your headphones in when not in use.
The bose triport are extremely comfortable to wear and the cushions are super soft, really cupping your ears well. Not only this but they also really block out a lot of background noise to, reducing the need for noise cancelling expenses. They are quite bulky but very slim compared to other brands available, they are also made extremely well and i dont feel like they would break very easily, unlike some.
They really give you a sense of surround sound which is quiet frankly satggering. Music is astonishingly clear, crisp and even the bass sounds deep and rich.
I have listened to orchestral, pop and rock with these and every time i use them im still amazed at their quality. It brings your music to life as opposed to other headphones.
Although they do have a hefty rice tag you cant really compromise on quality and these are just that. I used to be a fan of the inner ear headphone but since buying and listening through these i would rarely consider going back.
If your looking for that bit extra to hear your music the way it was meant to be heard you need a pair of Bose triport!
They may not be as portable as other models, such as ones that collapse down, or even in ear headphones but if that does noe deter you then they are definately worth looking into
Well I bought these in November from Best Buy in America. They were quite expensive but I know that Bose sound is engineered very differently to 'commercial' sound as it were. I cannot recommend these highly enough! Honestly, listening to my ipod with these on is such a joy! It really is like having surround sound, crystal crisp, real quality sound in your ears. Also, with normal headphones when tracks have that few second silence between each other, you can sometimes hear it but definetely not so when using these. I have to say, these are a bit big when taking on the tube etc but seriously, for the sound you will get nothing beats these! I am very fashion conscious so wasn't major keen on wearing these out but the sound quality is so impressive that nothing stops me! A definete must buy for anyone at all, no doubt!
My husband is a complete technology nut and whenever some little gadget comes out he just has to buy it as soon as possible. He has been like this now for twenty years so i dont think he'll change. About a year ago he bought a Bose hi-fi and of course like the sad person he is he had to get some accessories to go along with it. So of course the headphones were the first to be purchased.
First off i dont like the look of the headphones, i am one of the people that like the in ear headphones, so to me these just look bulky and old looking. So looks wise i think these are incredibly bad looking. For a machine which is meant to be a modern machine i expected the same from the headphones. The major part that bugs me about these headphones is that they are meant to demolish the rubbish music my husband listens to so that i can't hear it. It bugs me as when he has them on i can hear the music as loud as if he had it on normally. I asked him to check if it was faulty but he said no.
Overall i was incredibly disappointed in this product. My husband paid £100 for them and i believe them to be rubbish and no amount of his saying they are brilliant will change my mind. My advice is buy another product and definately do not go for these as they are a waste of a lot of money which can be spent on other things.
I have owned a pair of bose triport headphones since January, when I bought them from an apple store in New York. I have used them whenever I have had the chance during the period that I have owned them. I think they are well above average so in this article I will tell you why I think that.
The sound quality is probably the most important thing here, and in my opinion, it does not disappoint. Everything about the sound is perfect. The bass is great, and higher notes are sharp and clear. Acoustic songs especially sound great on this set of cans, sounding like a live performance. The sound really does meet the high standards that Bose has set over the past few years.
Now I an going to move over to the comfort side of things. I know that not much can be said about on-ear headphones when it comes to comfort as they do not actually enter the ear like in-ear headphones. But these are phenomenally comfortable. I don't think I have ever had more comfortable headphones on my ears. They are fantastic and do not hurt your ears after continued use no matter how long you listen to them, making them great for long haul flights, they are also easily extendable to make sure that you get the perfect fit.
The sound isolation is another thing that really does seem to impress here, it always has with Bose. Whenever I have these on all I can here is the music, and much to the dismay of friends and family they have to shout for me to hear them with these on. I think that the sound isolation is due to the very comfy layer around the headphones, which are great sound isolators. The fact that outside noise is isolated so well means that you can turn the volume down, and that way your ears will last longer.
They come with a carry-bag, extendable lead, and an amp socket extender for plugging into keyboards and other instruments. I really do think that the Bose Triport headphones are some of the best I have ever had, they are certainly the comfiest, and I would certainly recommend that you buy them. They can be purchased now for around £90, which is an absolute bargain, 5 stars.
