I had been through pair after pair of headphones whether it be out and about, at college, at home or at the gym. Wherever I'd seem to break them at first it was because I was not treating them well. But I soon realized many were just poor quality.
Never really sought a solution just kept wasting money, so one day unsurprisingly my headphones had broken and I wanted to go to the gym and listen to my own music so I borrowed my brothers headphones. They were completely fine at the gym and he let me keep them (he had had them for 1 year) I managed to keep them going while working out for around 8 months. Believe it or not this was the longest I'd ever kept a pair, I was chuffed.
So once these had bit the dust I went straight onto Amazon and looked for the exact one I found them but to my surprise £6.99! I was so surprised and had to double check but no these were the same durable headphones. Ordered a pair and I still use them to this day. Have since got a separate pair for the gym. These headphones have saved me a lot of money and time.
These are in-ear headphones I've personally never liked the over ear ones, never saw the attraction. They look pretty standard with the color and shape, has the creative logo on the side and the letter for which ear they are for, not much creativity went into how they look but for me this is not a matter. They can fit into any device with the standard audio jack, used on MP3 players, iPods, iPhones etc. The wires themselves also seem durable. The only bad points I can think of is that they do not cancel out noise around you and can be heard easily by those around you. But really for that price and how durable they are that's a minor problem, if considered to be a problem.
All in all I would recommend these headphones for anyone that needs cheap, durable and good quality headphones. The price to me is simply amazing. Can't praise it enough. If music is what you need let these headphones deliver it to you.
When it comes to headphones they come in 2 different forms, firstly the typical chunky headphones that seem to have a rather classic look to them and then there's in ear headphones which fit easily into each ear. The Creative EP-210 which come with several of Creatives "Zen Mini" range are amongst the best of the in ear head phones I've tried due to the fact they are reliable, strong and durable as well as clear, but lets get on to that in a little bit. Overall they look like any old bog standard black headphones of this type, though maybe a little thicker on the wire than most. On the back of the actual ear pieces is an "L" or an "R" (left or right) and "CREATIVE" which acts as the only distinguishing factor between these and similar coloured headphones.
Although I got them free with my MP3 players, a quick look online shows they can be purchased for £22.58 from Play.com which may suggest they are pricey, but it become apparent that they are actually great value for money when compared to the excessive costs of things like SkullCandy and Sennheiser. Though lets look at why. After 8 months of using the headphones they still work, a rarity for someone like me who uses and even abuses headphones, on a daily basis, the fact that they are still working is only the first amazing feature of them. The bigger amazement is that they still sound like their new, despite being put in pockets, thrown around the house and use for in excess of 5 hours a day, the sound quality is crisp and clear and is a significant improvement over the inbuilt speakers in my laptop. Considering the average life of £5 headphones being only 2 months maximum in my house the fact these are still around and still working at 100% is exceptional.
For some they may find a fault in the fact that these are built as in-ear headphones which some dislike due to the fact that they fall out a little bit too much and the soft fury covers can fall off way too easily. Though the fact is that for every one who dislikes these in-ear designs there is someone who dislikes the chunky "headphone" design, for everyone who likes the in ear sets there is someone who dislikes them, you can't please everyone, the best you can do is make a solid reliable set and Creative have. Perfectly designed with a normal 35mm jack so you can use them with almost every sort of device that will use headphones as well as being so light weight you won't even notice you have them on. Perfect for those on the move or sitting in front of a computer, they may not "cancel out" the outside noise but what they do do, is over rule it. Genius headphones that everyone deserves to be able to try whether you have a Creative MP3 or not.
