Advantages: Quick and easy to use and very Clear tunes.

Disadvantages: Pricey, unreliable at times

I was unsure about purchasing the DENON AH-D 301 as I had never heard of the brand before, and was unsure about the reliablility of the lesser known brand. Aswell as this I have already been through 3 pairs of headphones on my Sony MP3 Clear cut Player and doubted that this product would do my tunes any justice.

After a couple of minutes fiddling around and pressing buttons to tune the right bass and the correct 'notes and pitches' into the knobs on the side of the headphones I could clearly see that this was going to be a good buy.

The cord is very thick and provides a less chance of the wires getting tangled up thanks to the wire dividers. Also the head phones play music clear and concise and impressed me with the clairty of it.

Despite looking like a very big set of head phones It is remarkebaly light and weightless.
As with any decent headphones It comes with volume adjusting (this isn't anything exciting it tends to come with a number of modern headsets)
The one thing that did suprise me however is the comfort you get when wearing. I could feel the protection and the softness of the imitating leather inside. It supported my ears and fitted snug on them.

To date after about 4 months of daily use I haven't experienced any major problems apart from the 'plug in wire bit' that goes into the MP3 Player seems to be playing up and producing feedback and rustling. Despite fiddling with the end and turning it sometimes it just dosen't work.

But apart from that it has great features and is a all rounded head set which covers all my basic requirements and needs.
However these big and clunky earphones may not be for you If you are looking to walk through the centre of town listening to music, if that is what you require then I would suggest a decent pair of in-ear earphones.

Thanks for reading

Summary: A good bit of kit, If it didn't have the DENON label i'd have thought it was Sony
