I bought these super cute winnie the pooh headphones for my children at christmas.
The winnie the pooh earphones cost around £8.00 from play.com and amazon, i thought it was a reasonable price to pay.
Winnie the pooh headphones come in a clear plastic box with a small book of instructions , pouch and extra silicone ear buds in two sizes. The instructions show picture diagrams and easy to understand , they also say what the headphones are compatible with. These winnie the pooh headphones are an office disney product because it has the disney hologram on the box also.
I mainly bought the winnie the pooh headphones for my daughters portable dvd players as we do a good bit of travelling through out the year, there is nothing worse driving in the car hearing two different dvds and children moaning at each other about the volume being too loud on each others players.
The winnie the pooh headphones are white with small silicon buds for inside the ear, the pack contains two different size of buds these are easy to clip on and off for adults, my children would not have managed. They also have round plastic circle on the outside part of the ear buds this is where you can see winnie the pooh , he is very colourful too. Both my children received a different picture of pooh, one pair these same as dooyoo picture but the other had love hearts and pooh in the middle very cute. Because of the large plastic circle it is easy for children to put them in and out their ears themselves and the circle of plastic is not against the ear so should not cause any irritation. I noticed how well they did fit in both girls ears and did not fall out so im extra please.
Upon testing the earphones myself i did not find them to be great in the sound department but only because i have smokin buds witch are the best so clearly the sound was going to be poor in the bass department however as i bought these for my children it was not much of an issue. The sound is crystal clear and their was no outside noise or interference.
When finished with the ear phone they come with a small winnie the pooh pouch for easy storage.
Winnie the pooh head phones are compatible with most mp3 players, dvd player, and hand held consoles.
So far both my children have used the earphones in the car without needing my help or any other problems. These look and feel sturdy so i think they will last for a long time.
Since buying the winnie the pooh head phones I have seen other disney characters too so loads to choose from.
I highly recommend the winnie the pooh, super cute headphones. Make a cute gift for the pooh fans.
Aren't Disney greedy??? Like the company isn't rich enough, they have to jump on the bandwagon and just about ANYTHING you can buy now there is a Disney alternative..... usually with a much higher price tag than most of the other items on the shelf!
It's a good job they make and sell good quality products then! I've got shedloads of earphones for my iPod, iPhone and few other MP3 players I use. My mate brought me these for Xmas and they cost about £10.00, I've always loved Winnie the Pooh and since we were kids she's always brought me Pooh Bear pressies.
These earphones aren't bad, actually they're not brill either but for the novelty factor they're ok. They are in-ear earphones and quite a basic pair, there is no volume control or anything on the cable and really they are just bog standard only the high price is justified because of the cute Winnie the Pooh picture on the outside of the buds.
The cable is a light blue colour and that makes them appeal to adults and kids, Pooh Bear is one of them characters that most people like anyway. They come with a 3.5mm jack so will fit in most standard MP3 players, I only have one that these won't fit in but that MP3 is a mega cheap China import and I've never managed to find a set of earphones to fit it properly.
The sound quality is brill, loads better than I thought it would be because of these being such a gimmicky product. The lack of a volume control is annoying because I quite often wear my iPod underneath my jumper so whenever I want to alter the volume I have to pull it out and use the volume on the actual machine instead. That's a bit of a nuisance when you're used to being able to change the volume on the cable of the earphones. The music is clear though and that DID surprise me.
One thing I don't like about these earphones is that they're not all that comfortable to wear because the buds are bigger than on most in-ear earphones and they also seem weighed down by the button that has the Winnie the Pooh face on. It feels like the earphones are pulling downwards on my ears and even though they've never actually fallen out it always feels like they're about to because of the bulky shape of them.
I got a bit embarressed the other week when I wore them, I'd got my hair in an up do with wisps of it covering my ears. When I bumped into my cousin in town she moved my hair back and started laughing..... when I asked her what the problem was she said she'd seen Winnies face and thought it was a load of wax coming out of my ear!!! pmsl!!! I've NEVER been so embarressed and now I'll only wear these when either ALL my hair is up so you can clearly see Pooh Bear or when my hair is down so you can't see anything!
Recommended...... as long as you've got quite big ear holes!!!
