Advantages: Durable and low cost
Disadvantages: Not for hardcore music lovers
These are the one set of headphones that defy the convention of if you buy cheap you get nothing but cheap, but these are far from it! When I bought these headphones I definitely wasn't an expert on headphones, I was young and wanted to spend as little as possible.
I came across these headphones on Amazon when I was browsing for a new set of headphones, after I broke my iPod headphones. The first thing that attracted me to these headphones was the price. They can sell on Amazon for as little as £3 (if you don't really care which colour you end up with) I bought these during the iPod phase so they had to be white.
The next thing that struck me about these headphones is that they where gumy. This means is that instead of a plastic shell for the earpieces they were made of soft rubber. This was appealing as my iPod headphones had been stepped on, which cause them to completely shatter as they were made of plastic. Buying rubber headphones significantly reduced the chances of this happening again.
Because of the soft rubber these are extremely durable. After 4 years of being stood on, sat on, having the chord stuck under seats, even the copper wiring being exposed! These headphones just refuse to stop working, the only reason to bin them would be due to the exposed wiring and how grubby they now look.
These headphones aren't going to blow you away, if you really want to experience all that your music has to offer then these aren't the headphones for you. But if low cost and practicality are what you are after then these are perfect. These are not inner ear buds; they simply sit in the large open area of the ear. This means they won't do much to block out outside noises. I personally hate the feeling of inner ear buds so these are more than adequate.
Personally I don't think this review does these headphones justice. You have to buy them and realise for yourself how good they are. At worst, you have spent a couple of pounds and have a spare set of headphones, which can never be a bad thing. Nothing a few dooyoo reviews won't be able to make up for.
I would finally like to mention, to ensure all aspects are covered, that these headphones are the standard 3.5mm audio jack, so will fit almost all audio devices.
Summary: Only headphones I will consider buying in the future!
