Advantages: Look great; Can get colours to match your iPod; Decent sound

Disadvantages: They've broke now!

When my iPod earphones died I brought a pair of these JVC Gumy Headphones, I got mine in purple to match my iPod but I think they are available in other iPod colours as well. They cost me about £10.00 but looking on Amazon they are a bit cheaper than that now.

These are majorly comfortable to wear, the ear bud is a soft rubber and has a nice shape. The shape is a bit hard to describe but they are a bit elongated at one end so they do lie comfortable in my ear but also the rubbery feel of them keeps them snug however far (or not far!!!) I push them into my ears.

The sound from these earphones is good, it was anyway until the right one died last night. I wouldn't say the sound is any sharper than when I use any other half decent earphones but the bass sounds good out of them and there's never any crackling or static noises.

Like I said, the right earphone went last night. There was no warning or anything, just when the track changed I realised the new one was only coming through my left ear. To start with I just thought I'd downloaded a dodgy sounding track but when I forwarded to the next song that was the same, it's done my head in actually because the headphones are only about 7 months old and aren't the only ones I use so it's not like they've been over worked!

That's a shame actually because out of all the earphones I've got knocking round the house these are the ones that I think are the most comfortable to wear. Like I said the sound is good but nothing special and that's fine for me because I'm deffo not a budding DJ or music producer or anything like that! These are exactly like I thought a pair of earphones for less than a tenner would be..... apart from I thought they might work for a bit longer!

One other thing I like about them is that the earphones are light so they don't pull my ears down or make them feel out of shape. I probably would look at Gumy earphones again even though this pair hasn't lasted as long as I thought they would, they are so comfortable the lightweight and a bonus is that the colour of them also matches my iPod!

Recommended..... but just don't expect them to last for too long!

Summary: Decent Earphones That Sound Good But Might Not Last You All That Long!
