Advantages: Decent chord length, comfortable
Disadvantages: No volume control
I have a couple of pairs of these because they were cheap and fitted my ears properly. I used them to replace the headphones that came free with my phone as they were unconfortable and had a very short lead.
The foam around these headphones means they act like earplugs, cancelling out outside noise by forming a seal within your ear and pumping the music straight to where it is meant to go.
These earphones spend the majority of their time sat in my pocket, on the way to and from work. I regularly used to get frustrated with a previous set as they wre impossible to untangled. but these seem to be tangle free. There is no voume adjuster (which is why these are cheaper than other JVC earphones), but the length of the overall chord is quite good (I am 6ft 3in and it stretches from my jeans pocket, up the inside of a top, and into my ears with plenty left over - but not enough to have the embarrising 'hanging chord')
Music quality is fine, decent base, but not so low it could drown the rest of the music.
Ofr a cheap, bogstandard pair of headphones, these are good.
Summary: Decent pair of earphones
