Suprised by the sound and quality for the price! (JVC HA M300)

Advantages: Sound quality, easy fit, compfy, solid feel

Disadvantages: plasticy headband.

I got these primarily because the ones I wanted were not available. They sit nicely on the head and are not too large (i'd say about 3/4 of the full size ones). They were also very competitively priced (£5 in sainsburys!) so I guessed they'd do until I could find some I really wanted.

I now think that I probably wont bother getting any others as the sound quality from these is very good. I'm not using them for Hi-Fi (320 kbs MP3's from a laptop) but the dynamic range and overall sound is excellent and I'd be very happy to recommend them on that basis.

The cable length (about 2m) is very good and the cable and plug don't feel like they're about to break at any time (unlike some others I looked at). The folding mechanism is also reasonably robust!. They fit the head well and are very comfortable.

Summary: Good solid comfy headphones with a suprisingly good sound
