      crisp sound, good buy

When you work in audio production which is a field I have worked in for a few years, you need to be careful that you select products that do the right job. I require headphones for a range of purposes, including monitoring. One of the main problems with monitoring is that you get a lot of background noise, so precision is they key. JVC are a reputable brand and deliver the goods with these noise cancellation headphones.

My experience of using them has been a positive one. What I liked especially was the collapsing mechanism and the lightweight feel of the headphones. This means you can store them easily between uses, ideal for me because I have to work surrounded by wires and clutter a lot of the time and this just neatens up the environment.

The headphones are comfy to wear and the soft pads mean you can use them for hours without getting ear burn and this is another feature that is crucial for me. They fit snugly and the headband offers adjustment for different sizes. There is also rotation and movement available to get that comfort just right.

In terms of whether they do block out sound, the claim to block out up to eighty five percent of external noise seems a fair claim to me. Using an extra battery will give you this feature and offer precision monitoring if you really need to finely atune your work. The sound quality is crisp and punchy and the dynamic range is impressive too, making them fit for studio work.

I do not have many quibbles with these, I guess the price factor could put people off, but I am fortunate in that a lot of equipment I have used is already studio based, but the quality isolation make these a pretty solid buy.
