      Excellent JVC earphones

I think my music sounds as great as it should when I use these earphones, I've used JVC before and have always thought they give a good solid sound and these follow that rule. I listen to all genres of music and sometimes earphones do not sound so good with some genres (what might play ACDC clear and thumping might not be able to find all the musical nuances of Il Divo), these have been great whatever I have listened to and that includes all sorts of music and also talking books and podcasts that are mainly speech and sound effects.

I've tested the volume from very low to very high and it doesn't interfere with how anything sounds, the stereo earphones mean I can hear equally well in both ears and even when I take one out if I need to keep an ear out for the phone ringing (or the sandwich lady coming into work!!) I can still hear everything through one ear but you do lose some of the stereo effects (but not as much as when using cheaper earphones).

The noise cancellation works well both ways and other people can't hear my music (unless I turn it up too loud and that isn't very often because I am a considerate iPod user) but I cannot hear other peoples noise unless I use the monitoring button on the control or turn the volume right down. I think the fit of the earbuds helps that and also the way the music is streamed through the earphones because it sounds like it is going straight into my eardrums to be enjoyed instead of spreading out all around my ears and leaking out into the environment (or environment noise leaking past the earphones into my ears).

I think these earphones are very comfortable in all ways and even though the control looks quite bulky it doesn't feel heavy on the wire, in my ears the earbuds are soft and comfortable and don't pull or stretch my ears. I think that's one way JVC have got the edge over other earphone manufacturers because even when I've had these in my ears for hours at a time they stay feeling comfortable and don't make my ears hot or feel like I need to take them out for a rest.

I recommend these earphones. They cost about £12 a pair but my boyfriend has always said that JVC earphones are on offer regularly if you know where to look and what shops to visit, most of his earphones are made by JVC and he buys from all their different price ranges. These are in the middle of their earphone pricing and they're the best JVC ones I've used because of the quality of music when played through them and also because they're so comfortable to wear even for long periods of time.
