I'm somebody who can't resist a bargain regarding headphones, I found these on ebay for a fair £5, these normally go for around £12-£15 anyway which I would still be willing to pay for a replacement if these ever broke.
*Look and feel*
Its fair to say these headphones don't look or feel cheap, the majority of the headphones are quite gummy and makes it very comfy in your ears. The bit that attaches to your ears can feel quite flimsy but don't fret they are as tough as they ever will be, and it just means they will fit around most ear shapes and sizes. The length of the wire is a bit too short for me so I add onto it with an extension lead because I keep my mp3 quite low when I am out and about cycling, but alone they do go down to my hips. The ear plugs can sometimes fall out when I'm jogging though because I have very small ears.
All I can say is loud but the louder the sound goes the music can sound a bit shaky, keeping it at around 75% volume gives a perfect sound quality which is loud enough and very clear.
Overall the price and ease of use makes it a perfect exercise pair of headphones that have lasted me months and months on end, so yes it is something I would recommend.
About a year ago I was contemplating the idea of buying a new set of headohones. I'm someone who runs A LOT. When I run, I don't like to run alone, so I always bring my iPod along with me. I'd had the Apple headphones for as long as I can remember, but they were starting to break. The earpieces were coming off, and it was becoming harder and harder to keep them together.
One day I walked into the Apple Store, and I knew exactly what I was looking for. I wanted some new headphones, particularly some with an earhook. I always found that my Apple headphones would slip out of my ears, which distracts me from my running.
When I saw this pair of Nike, I was immediately impressed. They were the exact same price as the Apple headphones, but I knew they would last much longer.
Since then, they have not let me down. They do have a little wear and tear on them, don't get me wrong. But it's not as bad as you might think. The sound quality is amazing, and they stay on my ear ALL the time. Not some of the time or most of the time, but ALL of the time.
They really are some of the best headphones I've ever had. I like them so much that I even use them when I'm not running and listening to music on the street, at school, etc. Nike has a tremendous name when it comes to quality, and the Nike Vapor Sport Bud Headphones are no exception.
