After having some Denon earphones, which cost me around £60.00 and broke after half a year, I decided to just get some cheaper earphones after realising it's not the kind of item that is worth buying an expensive version of. These Panasonic earphones have already lasted me half a year and are still going strong. I am extremely happy with them and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a good, long-lasting pair of earphones.
I have the red ones and I have not seen them available in any other colour. It's a unisex colour really so either males or females can get these. The earphones come in a plastic box and they are very well packaged. Inside you will find the earphones with a 1.2 metre long cord along with three pairs of soft rubber earpieces to fit onto the earphones. The box was a bit hard to open as it was one of those hard plastic ones with sharp bits when you start cutting into it. After ripping the box apart, I was intrigued by the unique earphone design.
The actual earphones are translucent red so you can partially see the wire that leads up them. Each earphone has the letter 'L' or 'R' to signify which ear they must fit in as they won't comfortably fit in the wrong ear and are not designed to. They fit into the shape of the ear very well so must be inserted correctly. Just below the grey button where the 'L' or 'R' is, there is a white Panasonic logo engraved onto the plastic covering. This hasn't rubbed off like the logos do on many other earphones through use, which is impressive and delineates the quality of the product.
Before you easily place the rubber ear pieces on each earphone, you can see a slight bump where the audio comes out, coming out from one side of the earphone on the dome shaped end. The other bit remains as the dome. Once you place the rubber ear pieces on, you insert the earphones in the correct ear and it fits in perfectly with the audio output in your ear and the dome shape resting on your outer ear. The shape of the earphones is perfect as they stay in very well and don't slip out even if your ears are a bit slippery! This makes them ideal for use in sports such as running and cycling, as they won't fall out with large amounts of movement. The shape of the earphones and the rubber pieces that fit over them reduces outside noise and encloses a space of air between your inner ear and the earphone so you can hear pitch perfect music without any interruptions.
These earphones feature 6Hz - 23kHz frequency response for deep bass and clear treble reproduction. The sound quality is therefore excellent. These earphones are perfect for both base and treble so produce top quality music for you to listen to. The earphones can withhold quite a loud volume as well and due to the great insulation, there isn't a lot of passive noise pollution to people around you when you turn up the volume a bit.
In conclusion, I am extremely happy with these earphones and won't be changing for a while as I am sure these will keep going for a long time. They are very cheap at only £14.38 on amazon.co.uk and are designed just perfectly to fit in your ear, even during vigorous exercise and deliver such quality sound. The design is brilliant along with the quality of the earphones and the wire is long enough, which doesn't twist around itself and get tangled up.
