I have been through numerous pairs of headphones over the years, some great, some awful. For me, these are on the brilliant end of the scale! Design - The headphones come in a range of different colours so you can find one that suits you and your own style, which isn't necessarily important, but its nice to be able to choose a colour you like! The hole of the headphones will be this colour, besides the cushion piece and the wire, which are both white. A very simple design, nothing that stands out from the crowd too much. Fit/Cushion - The earphone covers are easily mouldable to squish into your ear. They fit perfectly just inside, which also helps to cancel out outside noises. I did find though, that the cushions were very easy to take off and this means that if thrown into the bottom of your bag or pocket where they may rub against something else, the cushion can come off and get lost. You do however get an extra pair of the cushion pieces with the earphones when you buy them. Sound Quality - I thought the sound quality was very good for the price! They just about beat my pair of apple head phones (the cheap white ones that come with your iPod.), which I was very happy with. You will rarely find much better than this for such a low price. The audio was clear and the bass was pretty good. Noise cancellation is also very good on these headphones. Life- My pair lasted me about 18 months in total. This isn't brilliant, but as I use them pretty much everyday, it could definitely be worse. The only pair I've owned that lasted longer were skull candy. Overall -- For the price, a very good pair of headphones. I would definitely recommend.
I bought the Panasonic RP-HJE270EBV headphones after I managed to break my Apple ones from accidently standing on them! I bought these from Amazon.co.uk and I decided to opt for the lime green ones. The headphones are in-ear headphones with ear buds attached to the ends of them. This gives you more comfort and helps the ear buds to remain in your ear throughout your duration of use. Apart from being very comfortable these headphones actually STAY put in your ear, even if you're exercising. I use them for jogging and they never fall out of my ear. I can insert them before jogging and they remain inside my ears until I wish to remove them. The headphones also come with a spare pair of ear plugs in case you misplace the ones that are already on them. The headphones give superior sound quality. They're great for all types of music and they give out a wicked bass sound without sounding "tinny", this gives you much better listening quality. The cord is pretty much tangle free and the headphones are easy to store as they're not big in size. The wide range of colours means you can colour co ordinate them with your mp3 player! I would recommend these headphones. They're great quality, they look cool and they're fashionable too! I paid £9.99 for my pair, this is the average price of the headphones.
They're purple but who cares? i love the amazing quality these little earphones produce, not really much to say about these but i would recommend these to anybody, for under £10 they're in everyone's price rangethey feel really comfortable in the ears and do not hurt after a while of having them in, like many other headphones i have bought.
I got a new MP3 player recently and they came with some headphones. This did not last long and one of the ear pieces broke after a month. This led me to look into buying some new ones. I did not want to break the bank so was looking for anything that was cheap and reliable. Searching on Amazon for a pair I came across the Panasonic range. From other reviews it appeared they were reliable. Priced at £6.59 they appeared to be a great bargain. There were a number of colours available such as green, silver, purple, blue and pink. I opted for the standard black version so it would match my MP3 player. The ear phones ear piece is made from plastic. This is then covered with a kind of gel plastic. This allows it to sit in your ear with a great deal of comfort for hours on end. The gel moulds and moves to fit your ear shape. I had them in for an entire 12 hour flight and my ears did become a little tired and sore. But other stints of 4 hours have never caused me a problem. The sound quality is great. The music I listen to is clear, crisp and projected well. What surprised me about these is how well the block out other noise. When these are in I forget about everything else going on around me as I cannot hear it. I use these when I go on jogs and the connector has always stayed in place. The length of the wire is perfect as I do not get a dragging pull from the MP3 player to my ear even whilst jogging. This really is a great bargain and perfect for taking on jogs.
A couple of months ago when I got my first iPhone I realised I probably needed to purchase some new headphones to go with it. My old Apple headphones which I had been using for years with my iPod nano had pretty much fallen apart and the wires were exposed so I wanted a cheap but reliable pair to use with the phone which would now also be my music player. I found these Panasonic ones on Amazon for £6.99 and they come in a range of colours, I actually have the silver version rather than the purple pictured at the top of this page as they were the closest match to my white iPhone, but they do come in colours specifically to match the newer iPod nanos - green, purple, blue and pink namely. I find that these ear bud style headphones fit very snugly in my ears and are shaped to be comfortable when worn for a couple of hours - I do find if I have them in for longer than this (sometimes I have them in most of the day at work) they start to make my ears a bit sore, but for shorter bursts they are fine. They actually seem to do a far better job of blocking out other sound than the Apple ones ever did and I do like this about them, for less than a tenner they are a fab replacement product. There is no issue with the connector fitting my Apple devices which was my other concern as these are not made by Apple, clearly they are aimed at people looking to do exactly as I did and replace the original Apple headphones cheapy and efficiently. The wires are long enough and the sound quality is, if anything, slightly better, due to the lessened background noise. I would definitely recommend these if you need a replacement set of headphones for your ipod/phone.
I bought these to replace the exact same pair i had bought about 2 years ago from argos. I love the fact they give a pretty good sound quality and yet only cost £12. These are "in-ear" headphones, meaning that they sit further in your ears than the standard iphone/ipod headphones that are everywhere these days. I think this is better because 1. you hear more of your own music 2. other people hear less of your music, 3. the bass is brilliant. It comes packaged in clear plastic that needs to be cut apart to get the headphones out. There is also a leaflet talking about use, with specifications and warranty. I bought my headphones in black with a white wire, but it is possible to buy them in pink, blue, purple and white. The wire is a decent length and the connection is a 3.5mm plug which is used by nearly all mobiles and mp3 players at the moment and so allows the headphones to be compatible with everything. Sound quality is great, it is clear and the bass effect is really good. I do find that after a while my ears hurt but i get that all the time. My only problem is that they are not compatible with handsfree, but that isn't a huge issue.
This is a review on the Panasonic RP-HJE270EBV , these are a great pair of in ear headphones. For the price of these you cannot go wrong. The advantage of having in ear headphones is that the bass response is great. You can really hear every word and every beat to all of your favourite songs. I myself had these headphones as a replacement to my iphone headphones and in all honesty there was no diffrence in quality. These are also perfect for joggers or people that use the gym as they are very steady inside of your ear and have not fell out of my ear once. You can catch these at a really great bargain if you know were to look. This website offers the best prices you could find online. Buying these will not let you down both in quality and design. Would definately buy these again.
Admittedly after buying my iPod the main reason I threw the standard 'iconic' white earphones away was because my ears are weird and they don't fit....I do however hear a lot of disgruntled friends who's ears they do fit ranting about how the sound quality is also a lot less than they would expect from Apple. I am a sound technician so I get given a lot of free pairs of earphones and headphones for my opinion and for promotion of shops etc. I am a very picky consumer, especially when it comes to anything involving sound or music (being a sound technician) so my research was extensive. I of course have a few pairs of large studio quality headphones but these aren't exactly the sort you want to have in your pocket or on the bus. Upon receiving these I found that tehy are available between £10 and £15 so they're a very reasonable price. THE PRODUCT ............................ Straight out of the box I noticed the variety of 'buds' (the piece of rubber attached to the speaker to go in your ear)...making them a good buy for people with all ear sizes. The bud fits snuggly into your ear but unfortunately does an under average job of isolating background noise, but any noise isolation in this price range is a rare thing. I used them for a few days with average results as far as sound quality and comfort are concerned.... SOUND QUALITY : 5/10 BASS : 4/10 COMFORT : 7/10 LOUDNESS: 6/10 SOUND CLARITY: 6/10 CONCLUSION For the cost these are the sort of in-ear bud earphones one would expect. I have had them for around 6 months now and have discovered no lack in build quality or deterioration of sound quality. I would recommend seriously considering another brand such as sennheiser for this type of earphone as in my experience they come off better as far as sound goes.
I purchased the Panasonic RP-HJE270EBV headphones for use with my iPod touch around 2 months ago from amazon.co.uk for £11.30 with free postage and packaging. I was immediately drawn to the sleek and stylish design and bright coloured design of these headphones. The headphones come securely in a plastic packaging to hold the headphones in place and in to keep them from being damaged. Also the headphone wire its self is tied with a small plastic band to keep the wire wrapped up nice to get it from damage and also easier to manage and keep a hold of. Also included in the packaging is a flyer including the warranty numbers and other various numbers for Panasonic customer support and also some other various bits of information in a variety of different languages to open the headphone use up to more people. After eventually getting into the plastic box, which i had to cut open with scissors i removed the headphones. They have a angled plastic design on the end of each wire along with a rubber angled piece that fits softly in your ear and comfortably. The colour of these headphones was a dark purple. Making this a brilliant fashion accessory and can be worn by both men and women. The headphones use a 3.5mm connection, which is supported by many mobile and mp3 devices so you can use these across a variety of different devices. The sound quality on these headphones can't be knocked. As with many Panasonic products these do have a price; however they aren't put knocked down in quality or style. These provide a lovely crystal clear sound that restricts damage to your ear, making these an excellent set of headphones to have and can make even some of your more musical dislikes sound a lot better. These are an amazing pair of headphones however; at times they can easily fallout of your ear. They can also begin to hurt on the inside of your ear after long periods of use without breaks. But this can come from any headphones of this style. For the price of £11 these headphones are amazing value for money and can't be knocked for quality. I highly recommend these. I've been using these for around 2 months now and they still haven't broke or had any problems so these are very reliable. 5/5
My husband has these headphones and I have used them a few times. When I was looking for different headphones when I bought the JVC ones he suggested these ones, so I used them for a few days but decided I didn't want them. Why not? Read one. Panasonic is a well known brand and he bought them online for £10.99 quite a while ago. I would assume they would be much the same price if not a bit cheaper thesedays. From what I remember about the packaging of these it was just the usual style of packaging that you get with headphones. A clear plastic front where you can see the headphones through the pack and a cardboard back. After looking online I see that you can get these in different colours but we've just got the black ones. The cable for these is pretty long, and I tucked my MP3 player into my pocket when listening to it. I found that the cable seemed to get entwined a bit but didn't tangle up or that. The Jack on this is Gold plated which was something special probably years ago but think that most if not all Headphones have a Gold plated Jack thesedays. This is meant to give a better sound as it conducts the sound better - or something like that. The sound from these is pretty good. I found that the Bass came through these good and didn't sound crackly or distorted. The sound was nice and clear. So what put me off buying these? They sound good don't they? Well the ear part put me off a bit. As you may see from the picture of these there is a slight angled bit on the headphones and this is made up of thin latex. This sits in your ear comfortably enough, although it takes a little of getting used to. It's comfy in the fact that this isn't a hard bit sitting in your ear, but my left ear bit fell off a few times and I nearly lost it (I would have been popular at home if this went missing!) All in all I think I would have bought these for myself as they sounded good and were comfy, but just annoying that the bit fell off a few times, so I chose the JVC ones that I just reviewed.
A few weeks before I went on my holiday earlier this year I were on the lookout for some cheap and cheerful earphones which would do the job yet not cost the earth. I love my music and am very much into my earphones, but with my expensive taste in earphones - often costing anything upto £100 and sometimes even more, I didn't want to take anything too expensive away with me. Going on the beach always ends up with sand in places you don't want it and for the tiny price of £10 I bought the Panasonic RP-HJE270EBV earphones with the intention of retiring them to a drawer or the loft when I returned home. The Panasonic RP-HJE270EBV earphones come in a wide range of bright colours - I opted for an electric blue colour, though there are some more subtle colours such as grey and black. When you open the packaging you will find three different sizes of earbuds, so you can use the ones which suit your ears the best. In more expensive earbud packages I have found many more options, but for £10 you can't really complain, and I did find a set to fit my ears well so I can't really argue. I think the looks of the Panasonic RP-HJE270EBV are more than acceptable, the feel isn't one of outstanding quality, but the looks are there. The cable is 1.2m long, with a 3.5mm gold plated jack at the end. I think for £10 you can't complain over quality, but you would expect a good level of sound quality regardless of spec, something which the RP-HJE270EBV's don't have. I don't wish to be mean, but the quality isn't as clear and punchy as I am used to. I didn't expect a great deal for a tenner, and the quality overall isn't anything to get too excited about, but they were acceptable for the purpose they were intended. That said, I wouldn't be recommending them in a hurry as a set of earphones for daily use. Personally I would recommend you spend more money on earphones of a higher quality. I havn't used the earphones since returning from holiday, but my sister uses them fairly regularly through the day.
I have owned these earphones for a good 4 months now and they are still going strong. I have owned a few pairs of Panasonics in the past and have always found them to be pretty reliable compared to other makes such as Sennheiser, which seem to break more easily. These are the second pair I have bought, which have a specific design enabling them to fit very well but comfortably in your ear. I decided to purchase a purple pair, although they come in a variety of colours including green and blue as far as I can remember. They cost about £20 in the shop, but you can buy them for half the price online. They come in a plastic box, which is reasonably hard to open and get the earphones out. The wire is pretty tough though so you shouldn't be likely to accidentally break it. The earphones simply come with a leaflet on specifications and safety information and different size earbud fittings. You can get small, medium and large fittings. I currently use the small ones and these fit very well in my ears. Only half of the earbud actually fits into your ear, which works very well and seems to help prevent them from falling out. I am sure that with the range of earbud fittings provided, these would comfortably fit any ear. I am not aware of any guarantee on these earphones either, so once they break you have lost them and your money for good! They have quite a modern and attractive design. The coloured earbud is shiny and looks metallic but it's all plastic and quite light weight. Each earbud has the 'R' or 'L' sign, signifying which ear to put it in. There are three little holes on the main part too, which are probably there to improve the sound as opposed to some kind of design feature. The Panasonic logo then runs down the 'stalk' of the earbud to the white wire. The wires bifurcate at equal distances for the left and right ears, as opposed to one being longer than the other. This means you can bring them straight up to your ears rather than having to wrap one earbud behind your neck and into the opposite ear. You don't need to worry about them falling out thanks to their design so this works well for me. The wire itself is pretty strong and luckily doesn't tangle up much as well. I have wrapped it around iPods and MP3 players and they do not tangle up too much afterwards. The insertion point is reasonably strong too and I have had no problems with them so far in terms of breaking or the wire(s) slipping out of place. I quite like the contrast of the white wire with the earbuds, which are quite flashy in themselves with their vivid metallic colours. As for the sound quality, I would say these earphones are pretty good. They are not excellent but do provide a pretty full sound. They seem to provide a good quality tempo, giving an essence of clarity to your music. The bass isn't superb but it's decent enough. They are quite isolating too, especially if you fit them in your ear well with the right size earbud fitting. This is ideal on public transport and on planes for example. They fit right into your ear canal, which may sound nasty but they are still comfortable. Due to this, they do not tend to fall out, which makes them ideal for exercise and I frequently use them in the gym and whilst running. They barely leak any noise too, which makes them appropriate for those around you. The actual loudness of these earphones isn't overly impressive compared to other ones I have owned but it's not disappointing - quite average instead. The best things about these earphones is their reliability. I have had a similar pair before with the same sort of design where half the earbud enters your ear and they worked brilliantly until I dipped them in a pool whilst on holiday leading to an inevitable breakage! I'd say they are above average in terms of sound quality, which makes them a safe bet for the price of £20 or less online. They sound best with pop music but provide a fair bass for other types of music too. I have used them to watch videos previously too, which they work well for, but I'd recommend a better pair of headphones for these, which would provide a more surround and fuller sound. Overall, I'd recommend these earbuds as they do not cost a lot, are a pretty good pair of earphones and can be worn comfortably without having to worry about them falling out. Thanks for reading
