Advantages: Great quality, block out outside noise, suit just about anyone.

Disadvantages: Hurt at first, catch earwax and fall out if you're not careful.

I got these as a gift, because a friend of mine actually smoked my iPod headphones. They were great little things, and had all kinds of nifty ideas. For one, the jack was a straight tube like iPod jacks, so that it could drop into tight little areas. The wires were somehow really good at not getting tangled. The earbuds were easy to tell left from right, and the little rubber cups could be removed and replaced with different sizes for different sized ear-holes. The sound is pristine. I listen to a lot of ensemble and orchestra works, and I could pick out the instruments perfectly. They sit tight and direct sound right into your ears, and block out any other sound like earplugs, so you can listen to them really quietly and still hear everything. They have really great bass too. They're all around a really great buy. The only downsides are that if you don't screw them in really tight, they pop out quite quickly. The little rubber things catch more earwax than Shrek, and they make your ears ache really badly until you get used to them.

Summary: Best earphones I've ever had.
