The vintage appearance of them makes them stand out from a crowd however, all this comes at a price and although I'm a fan, reality is there are probably less expensive, better earphones for those of you who hold different music preferences. Also, although the headphones are light they are not easy to just slip into all girl day bags. These headphones are perfect for anyone who loathes headphones that leak in outside sounds. The sound quality is really good who those who enjoy music with large amouts of treble. However, the headphones may not suit everyone's taste as I listen to mainly acoustic which I enjoy but my heavier music does not fit so well with them. I use them with my iPod a lot. In comparison to the iPod and other similar headphones I think these are brilliant because even at half the volume of the mp3 you do not have to struggle to hear the music over the environment you're travelling in.
