If you wear shirts and move around a lot, this is the one.

First, the bad stuff: you have to carry your player in a shirt pocket; the cables cannot reach to a pants or skirt pocket. And, the sound is rather bass-heavy which is fine for most music but somewhat tubby for orchestral or big band recordings.

Now the good stuff: very comfortable and doesn't fall out (of my ears, which nobody has yet said are unusually large). The straps go around the neck and are soft and comfy. I can answer the phone quickly and not have to struggle with the cable or pick my buds off the floor.

Oh yes, the sound. Detailed and clear when the treble is cranked up a little to balance the slight bass-heaviness but just right for most rock, r&b, jazz and even the Kronos Quartet!

If you're a product designer, you'll know that Phillips wrote "the" book on product design; so these 'phones are well-made. They also know something about sound reproduction.

Conclusions? Comfy, convenient and cost-effective. Sounds good, too!
