I have never been one to lean towards Philips products when it comes to head phones, all the information I have heard from other people has never left a good impression on me, but last Christmas I was given these headphones as a Christmas present and I thought to myself I guess now is as good a time as any to give Philips a go.
The head phones have a silicon earpiece attachment that go over the headphone ear pieces (which is already pre-attached) which holds more securely in your ear allowing for a more comfort fit, so when you are moving about your headphones wont be shifting around with you.
I haven't had very many of these ear bud headphones before and the ones I did have were questionable at best, so I was very apprehensive about these headphones but After I took them out the box and plugged it into my iPod I noticed the crystal clear quality of the sound in my ear and also how the silicon ear buds cancelled out about 50-60% outside noise.
Once in your ear you can practically do anything with them without the fear of them falling out, you can even go running with them, and also lay on them in bed if you want, it doesn't hurt your ears because it doesn't push them in anymore because they are already in.
Headphones have a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, which fits most audio devices.
The headphones are light weight and (Unlike some headphones) you can wrap the headphones into ringlet circles and tucked away for safe keeping, or you can buy a little headphones pouch for them which you can pick up from Amazon for next to nothing.
The headphones are in a solid plastic holder that is almost moulded onto them fitting perfectly with the wire folded at the bottom and tied by a metal tie, then the moulded solid plastic is in a thick hard cardboard box shape and on the outside you have a transparent thick plastic sleeve covering the entire thing giving it a glossy finish. In the box you will also find a little plastic bag with extra silicone ear buds of different size incase the pre-attached ones are too small or big.
The price for these headphones if bought from Philips would be more expensive than anywhere else ranging between £45-55. normal retail stores would sell them for around £35-40
But you can get them from Amazon right now for £19.01
It's not a bad price for headphones considering how expensive they can get.
But if all your looking for is good headphones that naturally takes away outside noise with its ear bud design and a good quality of sound then these headphones are for you and at the right price.
