great headphones real noise cancelling I could not hear much of the outside world considering I was on a main street in London the sound is like nothing I have ever heard before, very comfortable on the ear normally the cheap headphones I can hear everyone really clear and the music in my ears not so well, this is just a great / awesome piece of engineering the cheap headphones also as you have encountered make your ears hurt very much i was just fed up with them i went to a friends house and he had a music player he said he bought these headphones and so me and him both tested them on comfortableness and noise and we both loved them.
