Anyway, I've had these for over a year now, have run two half-marathons and a 36-mile cycle ride in the pouring rain in them and they're fine. I also wear them twice a day during my commute to work on my bike as well as at my desk during the day. There's no sign of wear or tear. They have discoloured slightly, but any general marks tend to wipe off. The actual wrap-around part is made of a softer plastic that the main part of the earphones, for comfort. I needed a replacement pair of headphones for my ipod whilst out running and saw these online for under a tenner so snapped them up. I was specifically looking for a pair of running earphones as my old ipod earphones had no chance staying in whilst I was running. The Phillips pair a stylish, comfortable and the sound quality is fine.
