I have looked forever to find earphones that will:

a) not fall out of my ears whilst walking or running
b) feel comfortable while listening
c) have a great sound
and d) that are cheap and affordable.

Well after purchasing certain brand names that were useless, i decided to buy these and to this date, these are the best i have ever purchased. I tend to run a lot and whilst i am running, i have to have music playing to motivate me, otherwise, i don't enjoy it. I tried clip on earphones but the clips on those broke. I also tried in-earphones that just kept on popping out everytime i took a step. However, i believed that the in-earphones provide the best quality of sound so wanted to go with something similar, as long as i could solve the problem of the earphones coming out all the time. I saw these which hook over your ear, and then insert into it, which means there is no chance of them falling out whatsoever. Ideal for a runner, walker, anything.

The sound on these is exceptional. Built into them is a turbo bass which gives a 'superb dynamic bass performance' for that extra feeling that the music is actually coming from inside your head. Along with the earphones comes 3 different sized rubber caps, which results in any person with all sorts of shaped and sized ear being able to wear these with great comfort and pleasure. Another quality is the ability to not hear a thing whilst listening to your music. Beforehand, i would spend time on a bus, or a crowded place, not being able to hear my music, or having to turn it all the way up because background noise was filtering through. With the Philips SHS8000, not one little bit of background noise creeps in so you can listen to your music the way you should listen to music. Now obviously this is a hazard if you are cycling or crossing roads. A simple way to overcome this is to either remove the earphones, or just turn it right down to a suitable level where you can hear outside noise.

The price of the Philips SHS8000 is definately worth it as i have had this product for a very long time and found it to be most reliable and hasnt broken in anyway,nor has it lost its quality in sound. If you want the best earphones but can't afford the top market brands, these are the earphones for you.
