The treble was not as punishing, but was good nontheless. Overall, high quality sound came out of these phones.

These really are some industrial- type headphones, the design could be right off a contruction site. A screw locking system for adjusting the strap length may seem like a step too far, but it is a realy asset. Pioneer have aimed these phones at the DJ market- and it has payed off.
