I have owned these for about a year, and have used them alsmost evrey day! They are solid stury headphones giving great sound-quality and blocking out huge amount of sound to listernable quality (even for classical music!) I use these on the buss, and have been amazed. Because it blocks outso much sound, it allows you to play the sound at a lower volume thus saving your ears. It has great amounts of bass, as some people have complained of not enough, this is probably because hthey have not got to ear buds foring a propper seal. The ONLY critisism is that the bass is mabye not defined quite enough but these headphones have great sound for ... Read the complete review

One of my great loves are podcasts via my ipod, however, one of the problems with listening to podcasts are that they tend to be of the spoken word and if listening in a noisy environment they are hard to hear using the headphones supplied by Apple for the ipod. That's a different issue and I have written a review on my ipod headphones but this is a review on the alternate. Sennheiser make a huge range of electronic equipment including headphones for your generic mp3 player of which the above are the type I currently use. They usually cost around £30 and are simply the best headphones for using whilst on the move. So for your thirty pounds waht do ... Read the complete review

When I first started listening to music through headphones and an mp3 player, I wasn't really bothered about the sound, just pleased that I could have portable music at my fingertips. Then I received my 2GB iPod a few years ago and was thoroughly impressed with the headphones supplied by Apple. I remained satisfied for 2 more years, though in those 2 years I did have to acquire 3 or 4 pairs due to breakage. However, when I first received my 2GB iPod Nano I was recommended these headphones, but I didn't really see the point in spending nearly £50 on a pair of headphones, surely there wouldn't be that much difference? Well in January of this year, I purchased the ... Read the complete review

Listening to music... a great British pastime, and something I enjoy every day. It comes as no surprise, mainly because it has been said many times before, that the earphones bundled with the iPod, or any MP3 player, are not brilliant. The iPod earphones are better then most, but for a small investment you can get a lot more music for your money. Sennheiser are well known for their high quality offerings, but this needn't break the bank. Their CX300 earphones weigh in at under £20 and are available in either black, white or silver. They come supplied nicely packaged with small, medium and large ring adaptors for a comfortable fit. Of the three colours I really ... Read the complete review

I have owned a set of the Sennheiser CX 300 headphones for almost a year now. They come at an incredibly cheap price for in ear headphones from such a big sound company. But are they just a cheap rip off or an absolute bargain? The answer in my opinion is simple: bargain. These headphones have everything you could hope for within the price tag. They sound great and are very comfortable. And they have lasted for me day in day out for almost a year. The sound is far above average with this set of cans. The bass is neither too strong or weak, and the sound is incredibly sharp. Of course there are better alternatives in terms of sound but they would ... Read the complete review
