I have owned a set of the Sennheiser CX 300 headphones for almost a year now. They come at an incredibly cheap price for in ear headphones from such a big sound company. But are they just a cheap rip off or an absolute bargain?

The answer in my opinion is simple: bargain. These headphones have everything you could hope for within the price tag. They sound great and are very comfortable. And they have lasted for me day in day out for almost a year.

The sound is far above average with this set of cans. The bass is neither too strong or weak, and the sound is incredibly sharp. Of course there are better alternatives in terms of sound but they would come at a much greater price tag.

The headphones themselves feel very comfortable. This is boosted by the fact that supplied with them is a range of different ear buds that can easily be taken on and off to suit different ear sizes. The three sizes are big, medium (which are already attached to the set when you buy them) and small.

The appearance seems pretty fine hear. Of course they are headphones so it is quite hard to judge them on look. They do come in 5 different colours though, I would suggest the red myself. There is also Sennheiser's signature logo on each bud, which in my opinion is a very nice touch of class.

They seem very durable, as I have mentioned before they have lasted me for almost a year. And the lead is easily long enough, which means there seem to be no physical problems.

Overall I think these are a great set of cans at a bargain price. You can get them now for a splendid £18. Although if you would prefer something better but still with that bargain price I would suggest going for the CX 400 or CX 500 headphones from Sennheiser. Five stars.
