Advantages: Good, powerful sound quality - good price
Disadvantages: They tend to get a bit taffled
These are probably the most under-rated earphones on the market. I use mine with my iPod touch. They are a direct replacement with no extras needed. My review is based on a comparison with the bundled Apple item, but these have a standard 3.5mm jack plug & therefore can be used with the majority of hand held devices. I picked mine up for an astonishingly low price, less than the price of the manufacturers replacement set. They fit in your ear better than the original item, using the method known as 'sound isolating', the theory being that the ear bud makes a seal in your ear canal therefore reducing the amount of sound lost, and also the amount of unwanted sound entering the ear. Beware when crossing the road though! They come with three sizes of seal, so theoretically should fit most ear- holes. With this sound isolating feature, I found that the bass & mid range came through alot better, & really do a good job of isolating the listener from the outside world! The cables are plenty long enough without being too long, although the do not have the slide piece to stop taffling. Saying that, they do come with a neat little pouch to store them in. All in all, I would say that these earphones offer a great sound for a great price.
Summary: With such a good price, buy & try!
