The Sennheiser CX500 is a great piece of equipment. They maybe expenisive in shops but check PLay.com and they sell them for £40 which is the same price as the Sennheiser CX300 in store.

The sennheiser look quality and come in titanium, black or for those looking to suit the color of their Ipod, a white.

When first taking them out of the package i stuck it in my MP3 player and listen to it and thought i would be blown away, but i wasnt, the music was flat and without bass. I checked the reviews but they all said it was great, so why wasnt i impressed?

So what i decided to do was try out some of the different tips and there i found there was a different type of tip, i got the pair that fitted tightest into my ear which is recomened to do and then it blown me away. The sound was of high quality and you could hear every little note. Not only that but the bass was pounding.

The more you listen the better it sounds, it really does bring out the depth in the music.

The Sennheiser CX500 go deep within the ear so although not sound reducing headphones still block out a lot and once the music is turned up you cant hear a thing.

My gripes with the headphones however is that a little more bass would be nice for my liking but i do have bass a little higher than the average. Another gripe is that if you do lose these tips, which is quite hard to be fair you have to pay for new ones which costs about £15 as you have to buy the whole package with all teh different sized tips.

However the Sennheiser CX500 does come in a swanky case which will definatly turn heads when you get it out.

The Sennheiser CX500 also include many different sized tips if you are afraid they will be too big or to small.
