At £11.49 they are the best headphones available for the price (Sennheiser CX 500)

Advantages: Great sound quality, robust

After several recommendations I decided to ditch the apple iPod headphones and purchase some Sennheiser cx500s (The white ones) and boy am I glad I did!

======Product Quality======

I found the headphones to be of very good quality and to be fairly robust, I have had them for nearly a year now and have not had any faults with them and they are still working 100% fine. The cable does look a little flimsy and mine seems to have bent but this doesn't appear to actually damage the cable.

These headphones come with 3 different size buds so you can adjust them to fit your ear size, I think I currently use the smallest and that seems to work best for me. They are very comfortable and even after a long coach journey or plane flight do not feel uncomfortable.


========= Sound Quality ========

I have not really heard any £100+ headphones but I think the sound on these headphones is absolutely sublime, the bass especially is very powerful and you really do hear the music crisply, of course it is worth noting that some of the sound quality will depend on the frequency rate of the mp3 track itself. The headphones also have their own little volume slider which means you don't have to get your mp3 player out everytime you want to turn it down or up.

====== Ease of transport =======

These headphones do come with a carrying pouch for the headphones and the extra earbuds but I do not use it, I just leave them plugged into my mp3 player so that they are ready as and when I need them so I don't have to faff about with removing them from their own little pouch. It is a nice little thing to have though if you were packing them in a suitacase maybe.

These are available for £11.49 and at this price this is an absolute STEAL! You would be mad NOT to get these.
