Advantages: Great sound quality
Disadvantages: Reliability issues - although i've never had problems
Unlike the other reviewers, I've had these headphone for quite a while without any problems! In my opinion the sound from these earphones is absolutely fantastic but then again my only comparison is the bog standard, crappy iPod headphones.
They have good strong bass and perform well with the higher pitches too. I only use these with my iPod with the occasional use with my laptop and they provide great quality sound for both.
The headphones come with a choice of three different sized ear moulds as these headphones do go into the ear canal, a generic fit would be useless! Luckily the medium size fits my ear perfectly but this could be a real problem if you couldn't get the right fit. In fact they would be rendered dam near useless.
These are not noise cancelling headphones but they do actually do quite a good job since they go into the ear canal and seal off any air leaks therefore more sound is transmitted into the ear from the music and less from outside noise.
The only time I have found the noise a problem is on an aeroplance but other than that I find these headphones the bee's knees!
Summary: Great sound quality - maybe just your luck whether you get faulty ones or not though.

- 13/07/09 I paid £30 for them back in March '08.......
I'v e had no problems with them but the other reviews seem to have. One thing to watch for, there are LOADS of fake sennheiser headphones around, maybe they got fakes. |
