Advantages: Admazingly cheap and crystal clear

Disadvantages: Bass is not as good as more expensive models

I haven't tried these headphones for gaming yet and am surprised to find out that is its intended use. With respects to gaming this is probably not a very good set of headphones due to the poor bass response when compared to more expensive models. For casual music listeners (except bass hungry lovers) and especially digital piano and keyboard players these headphones are the best value for money that I have come across. The sound is absolutely crystal clear, you wont find a clearer sounding set of headphones anywhere no matter what price you pay and they are extremely comfy too since they go around your ear not resting on it at all which causes discomfort after a while. So why so cheap?
Simply put, the bass is decent, and I'm forever listening to finish rock music on it, but is noticeably very different to other headphones in the 200-300 pound price range. Also, I sometimes feel the headphones are a little too quiet but that can vary from device to device, my laptop has no problem playing load music through it, my tiny mp3 player on the other hand just doesn't have enough juice to get the full benefit from these headphones.

For those with digital pianos I would definitely recommend this product, my DGX-620 sounds better than some real grand pianos with these headphones. I expect some criticism for this remark but you have to try it for yourself to make an opinion. If anyone else wishes to add their own opinion on this please let me know and I will add it to the review. But for me they work perfectly with my digital grand piano.

Over all these headphones are extremely good for the price and I would recommend them to anyone.

P.s.

Another member contacted me recently and asked a few questions so I'm adding the replies I gave here:

Actual price I paid - £15

Quality of fit - Durable, though oddly if the cable breaks (my cat chewed through my first set) it wont work again after you reconnect the cables up, I have no idea why.

Comfort levels - They go completely around the ears so extremely comfortable for long time listening

Cord - not sure of measurements but very long

Accessories - comes with gold plated jack conversion plug

Summary: Youd be a fool to buy anyother pair before trying these

Thanks for the review. Will endeavour to find a socket that I can plug a set into my piano - making playing after the kids are in bed an actual possibilty.

My Kawai is a home grand piano!

Anyway you should add these details rather than putting it all in the comment box. It leaves your exisiting original review looking vacant for info. Just press the edit your review link and add the missing info in. How are future buyers supposed to benefit from your review if none of this info is in the review?

Why not just read the technical details? but to answer your questions:

Act ual price - I paid £15
Quality of fit - Durable, though oddly iff you happen to have a cat who chews through the cable it wont work again if you reconnect the cables up
Comfort levels - They go completely around the ears so extremely comfortable for long time usage
Cord - not sure of measurements but very long
Accessories - comes with gold plated jack conversion plug

as for your piano comment, it depends on the grand piano, I was referring to a typical home grand piano not a concert standard one. I played the piano for 14 years now and have played on several grand pianos and owned a baby grand.
