Sennheiser HD 212 Pro
Advantages: Amazing sound, very adjustable and quite stylish
Disadvantages: Can make ears hot, a bit tight for the big headed person.
This porduct is one step up from HD 201's I used to own and, the step up is a positive one. The bass on these headphones is great and music and films are very clear. The lighweight headphones are are not quite professional enough for a DJ to use but if you are a music lover or like watching films on a laptop or ipod, these are definatley for you. I bought my pair for around £30 and have never regretted it, they are highly adjustable so if you have a big head there are no problems. The cushions on both the ear cup and head part is very soft and comfortable and the 3 metre cable is about average. This pair boast a 3.5 and 6.3mm jack so it is suitable for ipod's laptops and even amplifiers. One thing I would say is that they can make your ears hot if you are in a warm room it can be uncomfortable, plus these do not cup your whole ear and only rest upon them, but this is countered, I think, by the great sound quality. I have never found a problem with this product, perhaps it is a bit plastically but build quality is good. The look of the product is very good, it is not too chunky but also not too small, it is the right size for me.
Summary: Buy if you enjoy music and want a product close to high end headphones but at a decent price.
