Advantages: Sturdy, good sound quality

Disadvantages: Seem to wear out rather fast

After many months of using a cheap pair of headphones I decided I needed something a little better. I was originally buying headphones for gaming but these are so good I use them for audio mixing and everything else too!

At first they look cool and futuristic but after you get used to them they do look a little plastic and cheap. I recently noticed that the silver paint starts to chip off after a while, especially at the top. They're very comfortable to wear although they take a little getting used to as they seem really tight at first if you don't wear closed headphones a lot. Although there are sliders for the ear cups to adjust the size, they don't move very far so if you have a large head they might not fit too well. They're really sturdy, I've dropped and stood on them plenty of times and they're still standing.

One problem I have is the wire for the left ear piece keeps coming loose and I have to wiggle it about a bit occasionally to get it working again, a minor nuisance though and it's probably just my lack of care for my stuff that did it. The foam on the top is now starting to come off too. The audio wire is nice and long though unlike many headphones where you lean back and pull the things out.

I really wasn't expecting anything quality for £40 or so but the sound quality is amazing for the price, they really do sound like top of the range headphones. One little complaint though is that the bass seems a little "fat" at times and really good at others. I'm a big fan of sennheiser products as they're really reliable, they impressed me yet again.

Summary: Very good for the money, worth buying
