I bought these headphones as a replacement for my Apple iPod ones which broke. I have been a fan of Sennheiser headphones so decided to get a medium range pair (not cheapest not the most expensive). These cost me around £15 which I thought was affordable for a decent pair.
Compared to the standard Apple headphones these blow them out of the water! It is very easy to tell apart the sound quality between these and if you have not considered upgrading your current headphones I suggest you do.
I prefer not to have an in-line volume control (something lacking from these) as I have had bad experiences with previous ones. These headphones are lightweight and the asymmetrical cable is long enough that there aren't any problems.
The supplied ear pads were useless to me and came off within minutes of using them. Since I use them without padding they do become slightly uncomfortable after any hours of using them and those with smaller ears may want to look elsewhere as these may become painful after awhile.
Also, the asymmetrical cable does get in the way slightly when I use these for running but it's not too much of a bother.
Overall these are a decent entry level pair of headphones. I find the sound quality more than enough for me although I imagine for the price they don't produce out-of-this-world sound.
