 ... but only half a centimetre or so, and only if you're applying a bit of pressure, certainly it wouldn't help much for gentle movements of the cord or anything like that. The earphones are made from a fairly soft rubbery sort of plastic. Mine didn't come with the foam covering as shown in the picture above, but I find them comfortable all the same. I bought these in-ear headphones to go with my iPod when my iPod speakers finally gave up the ghost. I chose these because they were a reasonable price (11 pounds) and from a brand that I have heard very good things about when it comes to audio. And I was pretty satisfied with my choice. The headphones come only in white (or at least where I bought them they only had white) and have a 1.2m cord. That is more than enough I have found. I can have my iPod in my pocket, or in my handbag and the cord reaches easily to my ears without me ever feeling like my movements are being restricted.
