Advantages: Very durable - will last forever! it's looks and design

Disadvantages: Long term can become uncomfortable, miniscule amount of bass

I purchased this product a few months ago from Amazon.co.uk
I was looking for some headphones that I could use and wear comfortably for when I go running, cycling and just for general exercise and use. I was looking in particular for 'neck band' headphones. These headphones are very similar in design to normal headband headphones. The reason I was looking for headphones that enclosed around my neck was because normal headphones do not give you the stability and comfort to wear them whilst aggressively exercising. These, however enable you to have the comfort, background noise blocking ability, and durability of normal headphones whilst being able to use them 'on the go', unlike ear bud headphones.

Well the actual headphones themselves look very nice. They are not too big and they are not too small. Just right. They look nice and modern with black and light grey/blue details. They are very practical too. I say this because of their very long lead to plug in to any headphone port. It's long enough to reach all the way in to a backpack if that is what is needed, but not too long if all that is needed is to reach into an iPod in your pocket.

The actual sound quality is pretty impressive. It says it had deep bass booster or something of that nature and whilst the sound is crisp and clear, the bass itself is not so impressive. A bit of false advertising there, but on the other hand it's not terrible and certainly isn't none existent so as long as you're not looking to blow your ears off with heavy drums and enhanced bass then these headphones will be perfect! The pads surrounding the earphones are very comfortable on your ears. They are nice and soft and spongy so they fit comfortably around any ear size or shape. The hooks around the top which fit over your ears are also surprisingly comfortable. Though they are not as soft, they still ensure a comfortable and safe fit for the most part.

One problem I have found with these headphones is that they can tend to get a little annoying and uncomfortable when worn for long periods of time. For example I use these headphones for travelling on aeroplanes when I want to listen to music or watch a film on my iPod. When watching a film I find I have to stop to pause the film half way through to give my ears a break from feeling squashed. This isn't a great worry on an aeroplane or watching a film, but it does get annoying if you are out on an hour's long run and you have to stop your run to give your ears a break. Your ears should be the last thing you need to give a break on a run, but it ends up being the first needing one!

However, I find this to be quite a minor detail with these headphones. It's not like it becomes painful, it just gets a little bit annoying. With these headphones you won't have any worry about quality or performance due to them being made by Sennheiser. Also the thing that most impressed me at the time of purchase was simply how cheap they were for the quality of the product. I have definitely got A LOT of use out of them, as they are used almost daily and I have yet to see or hear any signs of wear and tear.

A great set of headphones for the active person, not so good for those just looking for noise reduction headphones due to the lack of long term comfort. Great price though and you get a high performance set of headphones for next to nothing!!

Certain headphones do squash your ears, you're right. My Bose ones start to make my ears sweaty and hot after an hour or so.
