Not worth the cash! (Sennheiser PMX 80 Sport II)

Advantages: Attractive! Disadvantages: Sound quality and comfort levels not great I bought a pair of these headphones a couple of years ago for £29.99. Visually they looked very nice with their smooth curves and bright colours; in fact many of my friends passed comment on them. They also did the trick when I was out running or in the gym as due to the headband they stayed in place, unlike my normal ear buds / in ear phones that were always coming loose or falling out. I couldn't really complain about the sound quality, but didn't really rate it either. I would simply describe it as average. The main thing that annoyed me about these headphones is that they weren't very comfy at all, and I'd even go as far to say that at times they sometimes hurt my inner ears. Some might think that this is a price that you'd pay for sports headphones, but personally I don't think that this is a compromise you should have to make as I think you could get another pair of "sports" headphones at a cheaper price. Also, the wire came loose from the headband unit after about six months and I had to tape it back on. Personally I expected more from sennheiser and don't think i'd buy these again. They look very nice, but when it comes down to it they just don't cut it. Summary: dissapointing sennheiser - must try harder!
