Advantages: Great detail. Great Sound quality. Great look.

A point to note straight away when choosing the PX100's: the open back. And it is this open back which makes all the difference. So if you are trying to choose between the PX200's and these then that is the only thing you need to know! What the open back does is, in effect, let the sound breathe. I used to work in a high end electronic shop 'Sevenoaks Sound and Vision', and they used to say to say the effect that the 'closed back' style of the PX200's is best imagined as though you were cupping your ears whilst listening to music. It muffles it slightly, and in honesty means that the sound is a bit tinny. The PX100 has an amazing sound range and produces a lot of detail.

One major downsize, for which the PX200's were created, is that the open back means that it leaks a lot of sound, so not ideal for the morning commute - but who cares they sound so so good. Any professional review will tell you how good these are, and I am not kidding the PX200s are not as good. Not by a mile - even though they are more expensive. Which I never understood.

They look amazing as well, I love the retro 70's styling, and can't imagine getting another pair of headphones. One final point: they sound better, like any decent speaker system, once they have been run in for around ten hours. So be patient.
