I bought these headphones when I was looking for somehting that was good quality as well as not too expensive. On both counts they have delivered! These headphones have very good sound quality and greatly reduce the ambient noise going on around the listener. Not only does this mean that quality is improved but also that once can use less volume to drown out other noises, meaning that it is better for your ears. It also means that less sound escapes from the headphones and so you are less likely to annoy those around you! I bought these headphones some time ago - I'm not particularly techy, or knowledgeable in the hi-fi area. However, I love my music and had recently bought an iPod, and I've always found 'in-ear' headphones hideously uncomfortable. Sennheiser headphones have a great reputation - I was reliably informed that they're used in recording studios! But I didn't want to be lugging huge headphones round in my bag all day. After a bit of research, I came up with these. They seemed ideal - lightweight, foldable, and 'proper' headphones. Going straight to the point, these PX200 earphones are definitely ideal earphones for whatever your musical tastes may be. While not being extremely fashionable, they are light, well built and of good quality. One thing to note: with all the fuss and hype of noise cancelling earphones these PX200 do pretty much the same job for a fraction of the cost!! However here are some quibbles that you should consider before buying a pair: 1. For some reason, and it has been reported by some, your ears feel uncomfortable and hot.
