Advantages: great mid and high tones, comfortable
Disadvantages: the bass could have been a bit better
Anyone slightly familiar with hi-fi audio equipment knows the Sennheiser brand. This is one of the better brands of headphones and microphones. For example the majority of all professional DJs have a Sennheiser headset. The company was founded in 1945 and today has more than 1,500 employees. Headquartered in place Wedemark (near Hannover) in Germany.
I wanted a wireless headset, because I sit daily at home on an electronic drum kit drums. With a wired headset I regularly got into trouble with my sticks and it is not real comfortable while playing. Hence my desire for a wireless headset. My requirements were that it has good sound quality with good bass and he had to sit comfortably while doing the wild movements that I would do with the drums.
The headset is black with gray shades, such as the logo on top of the spacer and the earplugs. The fairly large earplugs are soft cushions, as at the bottom of the spacer. The receiver consists of black and gray and has a stylish, modern, so it always matches your interior.
The use is not difficult. You put the two rechargeable batteries in the headphones behind one of the earplug and you can place them inside. Turn the ear back on and now you can turn on the headset by a button on the left earbud. When you place the headset on the standard, the batteries are automatically recharged. When the receiver is turned on are lights a red LED light and when the headset is turned on there is a green LED on the receiver.
Connect the receiver to an audio source such as a hi-fi set, a TV, computer, etc. On the right earpiece are two dials: one for volume and one to start the search. The charger is a button that you can put on 3 different channels. All you have to do is select a channel, then you dial in the frequency search.
The sound is very good. Many clear middle and highs and a pretty good bass. For example, house music, I just prefer a slightly heavier bass. But the good mid and high tones you can really hear all the instruments, the sounds in the background. What I regret is that you only can set the volume on the headset and not the heavy, middle and treble separately.
I am very pleased with these headphones and use it not only drumming, but also during the washing, vacuuming and the rest of the household or late at night if I do not want to disturb the neighbors. For around 60 pounds it's a good buy.
