Sennheiser PX 100 ... point to note straight away when choosing the PX100 s: the open back. And it is this open back which makes all the difference. So if you are trying to choose between the PX200 s and these then that is the only thing you need to know! What the open back does is, in effect, let the sound breathe. I used to work in a high end electronic shop Sevenoaks Sound and Vision , and they used to say to say the effect that the closed back style of the PX200 s is best imagined as though you were cupping your ears whilst listening to music. It muffles it slightly, and in honesty means that the sound is a bit tinny. The PX100 has an amazing sound range and produces a lot of detail. ... Read the full review: The best headphones around. Sennheiser CX 500 ... several recommendations I decided to ditch the apple iPod headphones and purchase some Sennheiser cx500s (The white ones) and boy am I glad I did! ======Product Quality====== I found the headphones to be of very good quality and to be fairly robust, I have had them for nearly a year now and have not had any faults with them and they are still working 100% fine. The cable does look a little flimsy and mine seems to have bent but this doesn t appear to actually damage the cable. These headphones come with 3 different size buds so you can adjust them to fit your ear size, I think I currently use the smallest and that seems to work best for me. They are very comforta... Sennheiser HD 201 ... first model of Sennheisers HD range the HD201 s are naturally the cheapest and are not really aimed at any specific purpose other than for general listening so as to be fairly good for all types of applications as opposed to really good at one type of application. The closed black earpads are surprisingly comfy for a pair of this price and they looked to be fairly robust until I hit them with a hammer and then they ceased to work. The Sennheiser HD201 has a frequency response of 21Hz - 18Khz and SPL (sound pressure levels) set to 108 DB. These headphones are not ideal for recording/monitoring or undertaking serious projects where mixing is required. They do not ...
