Skullcandy hesh - My new favourite toy.

Advantages: Price, Style and sound quality
Disadvantages: Bulky for transporting and too 'in your face' for everyone's style
I really wanted some new headphones, and being the little grunger i am i wanted to get some packing as much style as they do decibels. I was not disappointed with the Skullcandy Hesh headphones.
I picked the white and black hesh style, with skullcandy written across the headband and little blunted spikes on each side. As much as i fell in love with the style (lets be honest, these are not for the fainthearted. Ranging in styles from neon pink to emblazoned with the Jamaican flag, these babies speak volumes before you even plug them in) However, i did worry that these headphones were all mouth and no trousers...
Though, i wasnt disappointed. The sound is smooth and concise. Punchy yet clear. I listen to a wide range of music and i was really impressed with the quality, especially being a mid range item. However, they really hold their own especially with rock / metal music and due to the snug padding around the earphones, there is very little sound leakage.
Though, as with every courtship, even through the love you have to notice the little foibles. Unlike the more expensive versions, these headphones do not fold down making them quite a bulky item to carry around when not being used. (Although, they do come with a lovely little skullcandy bag to prevent any knocks and scrapes)
Also, they do have a short short cable. this isnt really an issue as they come with an extension cable but could become very irritating if you lose the extension. Headsize wise, i find these very comfortable. They have extenable sides to fit even the largest beehive (well... think Russell Brand more than Amy Winehouse)
Overall, im really pleased with these. I may upgrade next time but these are definitely keepers for the price range. Stylist, good quality sound and reliable. They cover every detail, even down to the funky sticker they add in!
Summary: Perfect for those who want to take a step into more high range headphones with very fashionable look
