Advantages: great sound and look
Disadvantages: hard to carry around
When I first saw skullcandy headphones I had many reservations. I wondered how it could be that headphones could look so good but also have a good about of power and volume quality behind them.
Let me assure you, these are no gimmick items, and they are definitely worth the money. They are a bit pricey, I paid £30 for mine, but you aren't just getting something to listen to your music with, you are getting a fashion statement and even ear warmers in this dire weather!
The sound is really clear and, maybe crisp is the best word, unlike other large headphones I have tried. The padding inside the headphones is also of a good quality and you don't get rubbing or uncomfortable ears. They are however quite big and if you've got small ears much like me, you'll find they move around quite a lot.
Try some headphones with something a bit different this time, go for style and sound, rather than just sound. These are worth the money and a high quality. My only gripe is that you won't be able to stop listening to them (joke!), and also the fact that they can be a bit tough to carry around.
Summary: get yourself some skullcandys!
