Having never used or even heard of Skull Candy I took the plunge and decided to buy some. I was impressed when I got them out of the box with the look and general design. One thing that did strike me was the plastic feel to them, but given they are in no way high end this wasn't much of an issue. If I had paid over £80 for them this may have been a problem, but as I didn't, it wasn't.

The wire that is supplied with the headphone is a nice length, whilst some people may feel it is too short, I had no problems with it. The wire splits into two, presumably so you can quickly get up and move without having to unplug the headphones or take them off. Situated on the wire itself is a very handy volume control with a clip on the back for attaching to a bag or shirt, a nice addition.

Wearing the headphones for a number of hours did cause some slight comforter issues, but nothing major. Each headphone can be adjusted separately up and down, each side does also have a swivel built into it, but they swivel such a small amount it renders that feature useless.

Sound quality was surprisingly good, decent bass and clear. I've never listened to for any amount of time any 'top-end' headphones so I cant really compare them, but for me the sound was powerful and provided me with feeling of being 'in the game' and really 'feeling' the music.

It's ability to block out outside noise isn't the best but it does a fair job.

Overall a stylish product with good sound quality at this price point.
