The HESH headphones from skullcandy have more recently been priced into the lower end of the market but before the cheapish price puts you off them understand that not only are these stylish but they do fit fairly comfortably on your ears, the sound quality is amazing with deep varied bass adding to the overall sound quality.

I picked mine up from HMV for a cheap £24.99 and they have performed just as well as my more expensive Urban ears and in fact my urban ears broke not so long ago and so these have now replaced them.

There are many different types of patterns from the cannabis leaf and rainbow colours associated with reggae music, to plain colours, I chose a more subtle kind of design going for the classic black with a barcoded skull.

The headband is fairly sturdy and does extend to quite a length so it's good for all sizes and shapes of head. The fact that the ear cups also move makes it much more comfortable for people with non regular shapes of head. It has a foam construction with a faux leather fabric that covers it which makes it feel fairly comfortable on your head.

I am a big fan of movie soundtracks and so require a headphone that can justify some of the epic composing of people such as Hans Zimmer, Craig Armstrong and Harry Gregson Williams and these headphones just do not disappoint, although they are good for pretty much any genre.

One advantage that the headphones have is the non tangle wire that it comes with. It's made with fabric so it feels good as well. It's such a blessing when you don't have to try to untangle your wire. The connection is a standard sized jack and will work in most electrical products.
