Advantages: Cool design, great sound for price.
Disadvantages: Fitting takes getting used too, buds can be easy to lose.
I always avoided these headphones because I like to have good quality sound and on first look you do get the impression these particular headphones are just being sold on the basis that they have an original design that will stand out from the others. I had a few friends who had bought pairs and they all said that if you shop around and grab them in a sale they're definitely worth the price for the sound quality.
I managed to grab a pair of red ones with a white wire which I got from HMV around the time of the christmas sale and they only cost £9 which I thought was a fair enough price.
The actual ear bud has a silicone tip on it what I thought was good is the fact you have 3 different sizes which is definitely necessary because I found that only one of the 3 actual fit my ears at all you also get 2 of each size which is great as well. Also if you take off the headphones and keep them in a bag sometimes the tips can get knocked off so the spare ones definitely come in handy and I recommend keeping them somewhere safe.
As for the rest you get a pretty decent length wire which is always important for me I'm not a giant but I'm about 6'2 and I find that with some of the shorter wires if I have an iPhone in my pocket and headphones in sometimes it can have tension on the wire. At the other end of the wire you obviously have the 3.5mm headphone jack which is standard for almost all mp3 devices.
As far as sound goes you really have to get them in your ear right and it does take some getting used to cause it's a bit of a strange sensation as they actually slide right into your ear and when there's no music on this obviously blocks out most sound and makes everything muffled. However once you get used to that it really pays off in the sound the first thing I notice is the presence of bass compared to other earphones which don't sit on the inside of the ear it's much more prominent it's not as clear as some over head can style headphones but it is definitely good enough for casual listening. Also you get a good balance in the levels the vocals come through really clean and the highs and lows alike even at extreme levels don't suffer any significant distortion. you will notice some if you listen at full volume but nothing which would ruin the listening experience.
Overall I would definitely recommend these headphones if you can shop around and get them at a discounted price I probably would say don't pay more than £15 for them though.
Summary: Good quality and stylish headphones at a realistic price.
