Advantages: Cheap, simple but stylish, well made, good sound quality
Disadvantages: The rubbery bits came off and I lost them, and I'm unable to find any replacements that fit properly
I bought these earphones around a year ago from Amazon as one of my friends had a pair and the sound quality was amazing. I was suprised by how affordable they were, and I only paid around £10 for them. I have the plain black pair, however there are also other colours available such as green and pink and prices vary slightly depending on which colour they are.
I use these earphones with my iPad, iPhone and iPod. I use them for a range of things; listening to music, watching films/YouTube videos and listening to podcasts. The sound quality is excellent and very clear, and I have never had any problems with the sound being 'fuzzy' or crackly. I do find however that if I am listening to music and I turn the volume right up that the sound can become slightly tinny if that's that right word to describe it, however this is only when the volume is the highest it can go.
Even when I only have my iPad, iPhone or iPod on the first two volume bars the sound is usually loud enough for me to hear clearly which is good as I don't need to turn the volume right up. When I first got these earphones they had little rubber things on the earbuds which meant not only that they were very comfortable but also that the sound was insulated better, meaning that I wasn't bothering anyone else with my music whilst on public transport and in public places.
Over time though these became loose and I ended up losing one and then I lost the other one, so now it is just plastic. I have tried using replacements but I have so far not come across any that fit correctly. Surprisingly though they're still comfortable to wear without the soft rubbery part - they do actually stay in my ears even when I am exercising and the sound quality is just as good. The sound is no longer very well insulated, so I have to turn my music down whilst in public places in order not to come across as anti-social or annoying!
The lead of these earphones is really long which is both good and bad. Bad because it gets tangled really easily and takes ages to untangle, and good because I can have my iPod or iPhone in my pocket and the lead reaches up easily without that 'pulling' feeling that earphones with shorter leads have. The little silver thing at the end of it plugs into all of my electronic devices easily and securely and it has not become bent or anything in the year or so that I have been using the earphones, and I tend to use them at least once a day.
All in all these are good quality, affordable and durable earphones. I give them five out of five stars and highly recommend them.
