Advantages: Fun gimmick at first

Disadvantages: Lack of portability, sound quality deteriorates, noise pollution, annoying to carry!

--What you get--
Old style headphones with an actual headset to be worn like a headband. The advantage of this style of headphones is that it can block out more exterior sound. This can also be a disadvantage when walking around and say, crossing the road!

--Value for money--
I wouldn't say these are amazing value for money for reasons I will go into later!

--Where to buy--
I bought mine from HMV and they are widely available at any HMV branch.

--My personal opinion--
I was originally impressed by the quality of sound from these as music sounds somewhat clearer compared to the in ear variety. The main problem I found with these was portability. They do have a useful folding mechanism but I am often concerned about the delicate design and the fact that this may damage the quality of the headphones by stuffing them in a bag as I would usually do with headphones. The sound quality seems to have deteriorated from when I first bought them and a problem I have noticed with these is the large amount of sound pollution, when you are not particularly keen for the whole bus to hear your music! As soon as you turn it up a little bit, this is evident. The sound quality isn't bad but gets worse over time (possibly after the stuffing them in a bag!) Another thing is you can't share your music with your mates as you could do with the in ear headphones! (this is useful if you're on a long coach or car journey so I did miss this once I started using them.)

These are my back up headphones, ones I will only really get use out of when I can't find my regular headphones or my usual headphones are broken. They have lasted, but I haven't used them loads!

Also you look plain ridiculous in a bright white pair of these. Perhaps the infinitely more expensive Beats are more stylish...

To summarise, these are annoying to carry about with you but are fairly well designed and quite stylish if you are into that kind of thing!
Three stars - they are okay but I probably wouldn't buy them again.

Summary: I would go for the in-ear headphones instead! Or else, a better quality brand.
