Advantages: Extremely lightweight and durable, sound is very sharp

Disadvantages: Bass is quite weak in comparison to higher-end headphones

I have to be honest and admit that I initially bought these because they looked really cool, and I didn't really know much about the product beforehand. I have a white and orange one which I bought from a seller on ebay for about 8 pounds, and was quite impressed with the design - sleek, stylish, and just slightly bad-ass. As for sound quality, after using these headphones for about 2 years I have to say that they're pretty good; not fantastic crystal clear sound you get with brands like sennheiser or sony, but still well worth the money I shelled out.

The warranty that comes with the product is pretty amusing, and they claim that if you manage to damage the headphones through any violent extreme sport (or not) they'll send you a replacement within the warranty period, a claim I have yet to test out because I'm not the violent sort, and my Skullcandies are in near perfect condition. My warranty has since expired but I believe it lasts for about 2 years.

They double headband is great for those with small heads, as the wider breadth of the band keeps the headphones stably in place on your head, and you hardly ever have to adjust it. (Most other headphones, even in-ear ones, tend to fall off me, for some reason) Because both sides of the headband are adjustable you can adjust it such that the back is longer than the front, thus fitting to the curvature of your head more securely than other headphones.

The padding is comfy without being scratchy, but thin enough so that the sounds come through clearly, and sits on your ears comfortably without weighing them down and making them hurt.

To me, the bass sounds quite muffled (you definitely don't get that sort of thumping bass feel) but the treble comes out really well, and the piece covers just enough of your ear so you get wonderful 'surround-sound' while still being able to hear louder ambient noise, so you don't have to worry about not hearing cars honking or people screaming a warning out to you (!!)

The biggest bonus is how light it is - you can barely feel it once its securely on, and several times I've even forgotten that they're there! It's also extremely flexible and relatively resilient. I've carelessly chucked it into my luggage or other huge bags before and not even a scratch on them, I think it would take quite a lot to snap one of these! The cord is also pretty long, more than 100cms - definitely long enough if you're going to chuck your mp3 player into your bag with more to spare.

If you can find one for about 10 pounds, buy it! These are a great investment as they're fuss-free, will last you ages and are fantastic for travelling/exercising.

**Just to clarify, since I got mine off ebay, I didn't get the whole package you normally get if you buy it direct from the company, which includes a pouch and the 6.3 mm (1/4") stereo adapter.

Summary: Much more comfortable than earbuds - you'll barely notice you're wearing them!
