Advantages: Light, compact, cheap and durable.

Disadvantages: Sound quality is not so great.

I primarily bought these headphones for one use, whilst Snowboarding. I subsequently used them everyday of a 5 month winter season in France, where they were put under intense pressure countless times. They go wet, cold, sat on etc and are still, to this day, fine.
They are perfect for any sport of this nature because they are comfortable, light and durable. They are also extremely cheap which means is they do break, what's the big deal?
As for sound quality, overall it is fairly good, however for tracks with lots of base the sound quality is not great. i would not choose these headphones for use at home when this can really be noticed, Bose would be the manufacture of choice in that instance. This product is ideal for use outside, at school, on the bus, snowboarding, cycling etc.
As for aesthetics, they look great! The urban feel to these headphones looks cool and fresh.

Summary: Perfect for everyday use
