I bought these headphones after getting fed up with the Apple Ipod headphones breaking after a couple of months and then having to buy a new pair. After reading some reviews I decided that these were exactly what I was looking for.

Skullcandys products seem to be mainly aimed towards the extreme sports market, so I decided that they would probably withstand my everyday use walking down the street - snowboarding isn't really my thing!

I have to mention the lifetime gurantee that comes with these, as they are aimed towards that particular market, they need to stand up to harsh conditions. If the product becomes faulty, they will replace them free of charge and if you break them, whilst doing some kind of crazy flip in a blizzard on a mountain, they will give you a voucher for 50% off anything in their online store, this is the best gurantee I have seen for a product of this type.

The sound quality is excellent - they don't have a tinny sound and they never crackle even when on high volume. They fit really well into the ears and are comfortable and block out all sound around you. I have to say I find that slightly worrying, you can't hear what is going on around you unless you have them on a low volume. However, even when you have them on high, you don't annoy other people around you as they keep all the sound in ear and don't blare out.

I really like the fact that they come in a range of colours and different designs, I have the "Smokin Buds", I think they make a statement about you and they are really unique. They are good quality and have an in line volume control which means you don't have to fish out your music player to change the volume. They come in a little plastic case, which includes 3 different sized rubber buds, so they fit in your ear really well.

I paid £14.99 for my earphones, so they aren't cheap but think how much money you will save on never having to buy another pair ever again and they are really good quality.
