Advantages: Moulds well to ears, great sound quality, haven't frayed

Disadvantages: None!

Recently, after breaking my tenth pair of earphones, I decided to purchase some decent headphones, after all the ones I were buying were pretty cheap and lousy. Most of the store brand ones and just general cheap ones I had bought had a shorter life span, than any of my friends headphones that had bought an expensive pair.

So after asking around, I decided to purchase a great pair of these skullcandy earphones after seeing that most of the reviews they got were always positive and talking about how great they are. I got them cheaper than they usually are, as I bought them from a local TK Maxx for about £7.99.

Unlike other headphones I had, these were the in ear buds, which unlike the other earphones I had, were made of a soft kind of material that plugs into your ear and moulds the shape of your ear. The design on them is very good, with the one I purchased being the colour black and on the actual ear bud itself having the skullcandy logo. However, you can also buy them in other colours, if you like bright earphones or are just picking out a headphone set for family or friends and want to buy it in their favourite colour.

Unlike my other headphones which started hurting after a while, these ear buds fit like a dream. If it wasn't for the wires, I wouldn't have known that I was even wearing earphones. The material that the actual ear buds are made out of is pretty soft, so it doesn't hurt or make for uncomfortable music listening. They also are shaped quite well as they rarely fall out of my ears, however this is not the case for some of my friends, so maybe it is just a personal thing. Also, they are pretty much unnoticeable.
The sound is good, and when I am on a busy high street walking anywhere, it generally blocks out most of the sound that is around. Also, unlike the other headphones I have, this one has not ruined the bass line by making that awful buzzing sound, that other earphones sometimes do.

They also have lasted me a couple of months now, which is better than any other headphone I have used. None of the wiring has frayed, which is a good sign, as I hope to use them for a very long time.
However, if they did break, I would be happy to pay another £8 for them as they have been the best headphones I have used so far and have lacked any bad qualities about them. They're great feeling and look good, while giving amazing sound quality.

Summary: Great sound quality headphones which don't fray easily and are well designed
